My name is Zoe Burdass and in September 2011 I became the new landlady of our village pub. Along with my husband Ian, we hope to bring a warm welcome, great food, value for money and a relaxed atmosphere to our 16th century coaching inn.

A wide selection of dishes are available from our menus, made with a selection of locally produced fare, especially the delicious Burdass Lamb (produced by my husband Ian).

With a wonderful fire roaring in the bar, private dining, party tables or just a cosy dining room it is our intention to make all occasions an enjoyable experience for you. Be it that you’re just popping in for a spot of dinner or having a celebration, everyone will feel comfortable and looked after for the afternoon or evening.

Outside we have built a wonderful patio and opened up the garden so that you can take full advantage of lazy summer evenings, we have facility to set up a marquee for events and barbeques as well as a function room for private occasions and meetings.

If you wish to stay a little longer we have three letting rooms, two lovely double rooms and a spacious family room, all the bedrooms are en-suite, have TV with freeview, and tea & coffee making facilities.
